Work has moved to shorter runs and individualised jobs, and that asks more of a press than it was built for — quicker changeovers, tighter control, less waste on each set-up. A new press answers it, but rarely at a price the work justifies.

Can you upgrade our existing press, or is this new equipment only?

We upgrade what you've got wherever it makes sense. Most of our printing work is retrofit — tension and registration control, drives, motors and brakes added to presses already in production.

Do you work on Mark Andy presses?

Yes. Much of our printing work is improving and upgrading legacy Mark Andy machinery, and the same web-handling principles carry across other narrow-web and label presses.

Will you come and look at our press first?

Yes. We carry out on-site surveys so any recommendation is based on your press, not a generic spec.

How much downtime does a retrofit need?

We plan the work around your production, and we can phase it. We'll tell you the realistic downtime up front, before you commit.

Do you repair and service the press after installation?

Yes — repairs, servicing, spares and advice. We're set up to keep British industry running, not to fit and disappear.
